     Here is a link to a article about football recruits and twitter in oregon.  This is about how fans and boosters use twitter as a platform to interact with there teams recruits. In most cases it is harmless, just a man trying to pursue a kid to go to his Alma Matter, but in some cases it can be bad. Fans hide behind a phone and twitter in order to bad mouth players and talk down to them just because they do not choose to go to there school. Having dealt with this while i was in high school, it can get to the point where it is very annoying. It also really takes away from the positive affects that twitter has for recruiting. This is just one way Twitter affect the recruiting process.
